Cubans who would fly to Serbia demand an official response from the airline

We need an official response and the rescheduling or return of our tickets by the Condor airline and the travel agencies that processed these tickets,” says the statement.

According to the source who wrote to our newsroom, the aforementioned airline had allegedly notified the airport a day before.

A telephone call would have confirmed the denial of access to the Cuban passengers on flight DE2199.

“And then we were informed that the governments of Cuba and Serbia had agreed with the airline not to let Cuban citizens board,” added.

The group of 16 Cubans stated at the air terminal that there was no information note on the official sites of the embassies.

Immediately afterwards, some passengers went to the German and Serbian embassies, where they were informed about immigration laws.

“The ‘airport transit privileges’ for Cubans in Germany remain in force,” they were told from those diplomatic representations.

However, 72 hours later and after the claims made to the company, there has been no official pronouncement.

“The round-trip tickets were purchased on the official website https://www.condor.com or at the travel agencies that processed the sale of these tickets. No one has received an official response from the airline about the reason for the denial of permission to board or about a solution to the loss of the flight ”, conclude the message.
